WELCOME TO THE FEELGOOD CHALLENGE
Every day we have thousands of thoughts running through our mind simultaneously. Like what to eat for breakfast, or is he the one?
And because we often ignore the thoughts or concerns that make us feel uncomfortable, they are left to linger in our minds for days, months, or even years, draining our energy and taking away from joyful experiences as they negatively affect our experiences at a subconscious level.
Maybe you’re thinking you’ve spent enough time with horrible bosses, sitting in traffic, or stuck in a cubicle.
Maybe babies are next on the relationship agenda, but you’re hesitant to give your life (and money) away for the next 18+ years.
Maybe you’re over doing things you don’t really want to be doing to please (or appease) others.
Maybe you’re just sick and tired of being sick and tired.
Whatever it is, it’s time to stop wondering, and start deciding, so that you can direct your energy to the right things, instead of giving it away to everything.
And the best thing about these next 6 days, is that you don’t have to give yourself a migraine trying to figure things out. There’s no difficult process to dread or new system to learn.
In fact, we’re going to ELIMINATE the work, the stress, and the dread.
All you have to do is give yourself 15 minutes every day for the next 6 days to do this practice, and if you have something specific you want to decide, you’ll know exactly what you need to do by the time we’re done.
A couple of guidelines:
1. To get the most out of each daily lesson, start your day with it, and use the message as you go about your day.
However, you will find that with so many distractions during the day, it’s ridiculous how easy it is to completely forget the lesson for hours at a time.
So if you can, set a reminder to help you. What I love to do is set a timer on my phone that gives me a little ‘ding’ every hour. It helps me to stop, breath, and remember the lesson once again.
OPEN your mind and ALLOW yourself to TRUST what you FEEL.
2. If you think it’s not working, don’t stop! That’s your doubt creeping in, as your ego will naturally fight any kind of positive shift in your mind.
Instead, realize that resistance means you are very close to a breakthrough. This is normal. In order to remove the cloudy veil of doubt you must give MORE of your time and energy to the feelgood.
The more you give, the more you’ll get.
Remember, it’s only for a week. You can go back to your old ways afterwards, if you really want to (but you won’t).
So keep the momentum going and maintain your commitment to it.
