Pack Light, Travel Light, Be The Light
Tish, freshly home from Africa
is already seeking her next adventure. She is sick of the city, the tight grip of mainstream society, and her disapproving parents. There has to be more people like her out there. But who are they? And where?
Desperate to find her tribe, she heads out into the Canadian wilderness where she discovers the thrill of being on the river and the challenge of navigating whitewater armed only with a paddle and her fellow rafters. Little does she know it will be the spark lighting the way to new, often harrowing adventures.
Along with her constant companion Red Fran, she finds herself avoiding death on her moped in Taipei, getting lost hiking the Annapurna Circuit in Nepal, being stuck in the jungle in Ecuador for three days with nothing but two mangos and a bottle of rum, and tackling the craziest rapid yet in Uganda... as well as finding the love of her life.
But the biggest adventure of all? Having to face her true Self, and her fears, every step of the way.
